About M-Chitosan
A Blessing from Nature, Chitosan
Chitosan is derived from deacetylated chitin, which originates from the shells of shellfish. Chitosan is scientifically proven to be safe, hypoallergenic and antibacterial. CHITOSAN FIBER’S ANTIBACTERIAL FUNCTION
We chose to use chitosan for the inner layer of the mask. Chitosan’s positively charged molecules interact with the bacteria’s negatively charged molecules, ultimately damaging the bacteria’s membrane and inhibiting its growth. The chitosan fabric was tested by Intertek, and the reports indicate that after 100 machine washes, the masks remain 99.9% antibacterial.
DROPLETS PREVENTION WILL MINIMIZE YOUR RISK
M-Chitosan masks have a water repellent outer layer. The outer fabric is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and REACH certified, evidence that our masks are safe to use. Our globally certified components were carefully chosen to ensure customer satisfaction.
